몽고트 갤러리는 동시대 작가들의 작업을 중심으로 예술과 일상의 경계를 확장하는

전시와 프로그램을 기획하는 아트 공간이다. 드로잉, 오브제, 도자, 생활 공예 등 다양한 매체를

아우르며 재료의 물성과 조형 언어에 대한 탐구를 이어가는 작가들의 작업을 소개한다.

특히 전통 공예의 재료성과 동시대 조형 언어가 만나는 지점을 주목하며, 작가의 개념과

작업 세계가 깊이 있게 드러날 수 있는 전시를 지향한다.

몽고트는 청담과 도산 두 개의 공간을 중심으로 운영되며,

각 공간은 서로 다른 분위기와 방식으로 작품을 경험할 수 있도록 구성되어 있다.

골목 안에 자리한 친밀한 공간 구조와 디렉터의 시선이 반영된 큐레이션을 통해

작품과 관람자가 가까이 호흡하는 환경을 만들고, 다양한 세대의 창작자들과 협업하며

작가의 작업 세계가 지속적으로 확장될 수 있는 플랫폼을 만들어가고 있다.

Mongoat Gallery is an art space dedicated to presenting exhibitions

and programs that expand the boundary between art and everyday life

through the works of contemporary artists. The gallery introduces artists

who explore the materiality of their mediums and distinct sculptural

languages across a range of practices, including drawing, objects, ceramics,

and contemporary craft. In particular, Monggot focuses on works that connect the

material traditions of craft with contemporary forms of expression, creating exhibitions where each artist’s conceptual and formal language

can be experienced in depth.

Mongoat operates two locations in Seoul, in Cheongdam and Dosan, each offering

a distinct spatial atmosphere for encountering artworks. Through an intimate

gallery setting and carefully considered curatorial direction, the spaces encourage

a close dialogue between the artwork and the viewer. Collaborating with both

emerging and established artists, Monggot continues to build a platform where

artistic practices can evolve and develop over time.

From the earliest stages of exhibition planning,

the gallery works in close collaboration

structure that coordinates

artwork analysis, spatial flow, material combinations, and installation methods, it supports the most concentrated realization of each artist’s sculptural vision.

With a particular focus on artists who bridge traditional craft and contemporary sculptural language, the gallery presents works grounded in both material research and conceptual narrative.

In doing so, it fosters a foundation through which each practice may evolve beyond a single exhibition into a sustained

and cumulative work.
